It's been a very long, very hot summer at He-Man!
As the temperatures finally start to fall, we wanted to celebrate all of our achievements over recent months. Despite the heat making things tricky, the team has continued to meet demand from our customers and keep everything moving. That's been achieved through flexible shift patterns and early starts to keep out of the worst of the sun, as well as plenty of drinks and regular deliveries of ice lollies. As well as advance planning to keep production running smoothly throughout the summer holidays, the team have even managed to carry on with workshop improvements, both physical and in the data information side of the business that informs our work going forward.
There have been treats to keep the team going as well, starting with our traditional World Cup giftbags. There have been plenty of sweets, crisps, drinks and other treats for everyone to take home and share with their families, at least when kick-off times allowed. Then we've wound up the summer with our annual team activity day. Rather than go-karting, this year we headed to 1st Base for a batting cage challenge as well as table football, basketball and of course pizza. A great day out for a great team.
