This summer we've been working with our partners at the AA Driving School on their growing fleet of electric vehicles for driving instructors.
We've added the fully electrified Mini Cooper and Countryman to our range along with the Ford Puma Gen-E, a full EV option for fans of what is now Ford's most compact car. Instructors are already well aware of the growing trend towards auto-only licences, with more than a quarter of UK driving tests being taken in an automatic vehicle. That's an increase of over 500% since the mid-2000s. The knowledge that there are plenty of learners out there looking for automatic instruction has allowed instructors wanting to reduce their fuel emissions - and costs - to make the switch to electric vehicles without risking their bottom line.
